I see that out here, a lot. Folks have 100 acres, grow hay, raise cattle. When they are old, the kids don't want it, "just 40 acres dad" They'd rather live in the city. Land sells to a developer- 24 unit apt. blocks start going up. More water, more elec tricity, and a road not intendes for 1500 cars per day.
