Hi, i have a problem with my PC, just wondering if anyone here could help. I am testing my power supply with a multi meter pin 20 on the manual says the volts should be -5 volts, i am getting a +5 volts could this be the cause of my problems?. Pin 14 says -12 volts which does read -12 volts on the meter so - volts is a valid reading.

Ok, i will disconnect everything and try it out.

Might have lost the cpu. Had a similar issue after a brown out. It failed in a increasing manner over a week then finally nothing.

Yeah, i think it is toast, it won't even power on now. The mother board just led lights up with the psu but when i press the power up button on the front it does nothing. I removed all devices except for ram.
