Bought one of these at a garage sale in the early 1990s. Probably would have been 1992. Never got it working, though I spent weeks trying. Had to trash it in the end.
Oh wow, nice. That's a shame it was trashed.
I didn't want to give up on it, but I just didn't have any place to keep it and there wasn't any place to sell a broken computer that was already almost 20 years old.
Now this is still on a shelf in my house:
I seem to recall it being slightly better than the Apple II+, and probably 99% compatible.
That's a Franklin Ace. They were Almost Completely But Not Quite II compatible. Great machines tho, had a bunch of those under my wings in high school.
