Have you seen what those ACARD scsi -> ide interface cards go for now? like 240 USD if you are lucky. I had at least three of them and gave them away to retro computer peeps back in the oughts. Could have 900 more dollars in my paypal. It is all the old machining rigs and industrial equipment that drove the price up, things were built to run for 50 years and now SCSI2 and dsdd floppies are not worth investing in as they are all new old stock at best or refurb.
I am just going to shill hard for the again in this post. If you have old samplers/synths/CNC/whatever buy one now. Awesome little devices that make no high pitched whine and no heat.
That's exactly the one I was using.
It's not worth it anymore, especially since you can now use cheap sdcard to pata/ide/scsi bridge adapters
