Very cool but also confirmation that vinyl is an inherently limited media. Not that we didn't already know that. Poor dynamically range, can't reproduce low bass frequencies to say nothing of rumble. Audiophiles are retarded.

Audiophiles are retarded.

For sure. Most adults' eardrums have a frequency response up to 16-20 Khz, and these fuckers think they can hear the difference between an analog audio signal and one sampled at 44-48 Khz. When interpolated and plotted against the original analog signal, they are fucking identical to the human ear, yes even audiophaggot eardrums. Human eardrums simply do not have the frequency response to differentiate an analog audio signal vs a digital audio signal sampled at least 2x maximum eardrum frequency response. They ought to read up on Nyquist-Shannon sampling theorem, and Shannon's mathematical proof as such.

Most adults' hearing rapidly diminishes above 16KHz.

I used to think my hearing cut off at 16 khz flat, that was until I found out the audio chipset on my motherboard just will not output anything higher than 16 khz, as with most bog standard audio chipsets.

Edit: Yeah, I did go back and rescind the upvotes, for not returning the favor. I'm petty like that.
