Never could get these to work in the middle of nowhere because we had no strong AM stations, but here I'm close enough to a couple that I had my choice of far-right religion or sports talk radio. Eh....
But hey. crystal radio is cool, and this thing is surprisingly good (although not very selective) at receiving stuff when there are decent signals.
Yeah, I've got it amplified because the earpiece in the kit needs repair, it has a broken wire from sitting curled up since the 90s.
