But hey. crystal radio is cool, and this thing is surprisingly good (although not very selective) at receiving stuff when there are decent signals.

Yeah, I've got it amplified because the earpiece in the kit needs repair, it has a broken wire from sitting curled up since the 90s.

Chemicals leaching into the environment at large from our waste isn't a good thing, but some of these people just go off the rails with psuedo-science.

Some of the programming on those stations is just good 'ol fashioned fear 'o god stuff, but some of it is comedy gold.
