Not just a full stereo, radio and turnable system with two and a half foot JBL speakers on either side of the living room but a 3 bed 2 bath with garage and backyard off one income. The real rich kids had a fridge and novelty arcade box in the garage, wih soda and cereal on shelf.

Stuff people take for granted now was indeed a hard earned luxury
