I'm not sure you do. It's Oglaf, absurdity is par for the course.

The closest thing making sense to me is that situation when you wake up and you're panicking because you overslept and then, in the shower, it dawns on you that you don't actually work that day.

Hasn't happened to me in decades but it has occurred.
