kek no worries, i'm fairly computer savvy but also drink a ton outside of work. I have a policy of never changing a setting while I drink, b/c I'll forget that I did.

I've been known to imbibe myself! 🥂

There's so many menus and sub-menus for everything, tablet and apps that it gets really confusing. Hard to find your way around to change something back if it doesn't work out.

So does your computer savvy have any clue what's going on with this comment/maps thing?

Nein, wouldn't bother to speculate b/c the possibilities are endless so pointless to troubleshoot w/o at least remote access to your device which I'm neither asking for nor want. If provided I will simply ignore. I can say I enjoy that the adblocker built into brave browser does everything ublock origin does but blocks user comments on sites like yt etc making them load a hair faster. When I want to read the comments I simply turn off braves ad blocker while still having ublock enabled. Easy peasy toggle to read yt comments etc. There's a bit of a learning curve but it's worth getting started as either the brave browser adblocker or ublock origin can block yt vids. Sometimes yt breaks one or the other but one generally works. Youtube premium is not something i'd ever pay for as I already watch all videos ad free. When the jootuber himself is the salesman doing a promo I use sponsorblock. Basically it's a community and soon to be ai thing afaik to block sponsor plugs.

That's fine, I'm in no hurry to give anyone access, much less, a random 'face' on the internet.😉😏 Just hoping someone might have a tip of what's going on and how to fix it.

I just got this thing, so I'm still looking into ad blockers. Although I don't know how that would make the 'WAC' button open the text box instead of google maps.

Chrome seems to be okay. I guess if I want to make a stand alone comment I'll have to copy the URL, then go there and paste it. Pain in the ass, but at least it's a work around until I can figure out what happened, tablet worked fine on here at first.
