What do you expect when you make streaming costly and annoying as having cable and then you also make getting the content expensive and try to lock it up in a digital service that could just remove your access at any time?

I have said it plenty of times before. Make content I like, make it accessible and don't charge too much for it. Also, I am not going to "buy it" in a digital marketplace. If I can't download/rip/save a DRM free copy on my own stuff, I won't be buying it for you.

From the post:

>A new survey from Norway reveals that 50% of young people under 30 believe that pirating content is an acceptable way to save money. The survey, conducted by Ipsos, highlights that the high cost of streaming services is a key driver behind this attitude. Links between piracy and organized crime or malware, appear to be of less concern.

People don't know because they don't care. Remember that bullshit "If you have nothing to hide......" etc.

Fuck you, I have NOTHING TO GIVE YOU. Leave me the fuck alone already.

But yeah, you pretty much nailed it. Why is the US gov (or any gov) paying for Anti-Piracy adverts (and have been at least since the 90's)?
