I have this friend, , that is having a rough time. Drama stirred up and he listened to good advice to not get in the mud. Now he's sad because he can't make fun of the situation. The shame is that the situation is such a golden opportunity. There's potential for making fun of someone for being annoying and self-deprecation. Won't somebody think of the comedic potential!?

You should take to task. Mumble is not about censorship. It was definitely meant to be used in a way that just anyone who wanted to hold the talk button down and yell could shout everyone to silence. Denying people access to that privilege goes against the spirit of the whole site.
