Great job, good pay, low COL, rural, White area, good looks, intelligent, competent, take generous vacations, get outside to hike/backpack/camp often, exercise keeps improving (weightlifting and rowing), have preps for SHTF lined up, always reading or self-study in my free time, useful hobbies, maintain a vegetable garden, eat healthy, following stoicism, etc.

Only lack a wife; looking but not lowering my standards.

I tend to cheer on the government's downfall (acceleration) which seems well on its way.

So why the fuck am I depressed? I've addressed every damn thing.

Is it a parasite? Iodine deficiency? Chemtrails? 5G? Is this a simulation?

Well if you get demoralized for no objective reason, if it's just a mood problem, this can easily be corrected with a chemical of your choice

Like 0.5" of whisky in 3.5" of cold water, a couple of puffs of tobacco and that's it (rolled tobacco or pipe, not cigarettes). Now I'm not saying you do it all day all the times, not even that you do it at all if taking one of those substances is a problem to you. In fact if you have a better alternative all the better. I'm just pointing at the fact that, for lack of better option it's an option, most of your feelings are chemically induced, including mood.

Maybe you're getting old and hormones aren't what they used to be, maybe you read too much bad news.

>Is this a simulation?

It's a test

Thanks. The bad news does drag me down

You have to find a way to laugh your ass off, it's indispensable to fend off against demoralization. Demoralization is inevitable in a world that keeps falling apart with no fix in sight, especially when you're too lucid or too much implicated to pretend that it's going just fine.
