Middle children? We're not the middle children. We are the builders for the next stage of civilization. In order for humanity to reach the stars someone has to build the civilization to get them there. Our hat is not the sailor's cap or the astronaut helmet. It's the hard hat. The problem is, nobody's building right now. The ruling generation is still living fat off the spoils of their ancestors and they make it difficult for everyone else to do the building that needs to be done; but it's not impossible. Hard times make strong men. This is no time to wallow in despair. You need to be the strong man that your children need and build in spite of your oppressors. Do this and they will tell stories of your triumph for thousands of years to come.
