Leave her helpful instructions on sticky notes around the house so she'll know how to do things properly:
I unironically leave my wife notes on a small whiteboard when I'm gone to help remind her of the less routine chores.
When we first got married my wife created a Honey Do list for me. I created one for her and tacked it up in its place.
That set the tone right away.
When my wife and I had our first good fight, after getting married, she did the old, "you can sleep on the couch!", thing. I rolled over in bed and said, nope! This bed is as much mine as it is yours. What are you going to do? Push me out?" Lol. She went to the couch! And has never done that again!
Same here, although she simmered in anger for a while before giving up and going into the guest room.
It makes my wife's day for me to come up with a project for her to do.
I'm a Project Manager by trade. My to-do lists have check boxes, sub tasks, and dependencies. My wife laughed when I upgraded from paper to XL.
