Weird. I've tested it in Brave, Firefox, Chrome, Edge, on Linux and Windows.
But I did see the problem you mentioned on an iphone. I think it's because safari on iphone doesn't let webpages render video themselves and instead pops the video out as a separate app running above the page, and manages the video element itself instead of letting javascript manage it. Dang. I might look to see if there is a way around this.
