Disabled by personal choice is not at all equivalent to being desabled by disease. Fatasses can eat less. They won't because they're addicted to flavor of just about any kind, moslty to cheap sugar, fat, and salt laden cheap shit. I agree completely. I just think the writer has gone out of the way to paint this as just another aid to the lazy instead of making any remark on how it might be an interesting bit of tech that might help people who need it.
