This has legit been bothering me since I first read about it a few days ago. But if it does gain any real traction, I think we will see a new movement break off and push those SJW fucks out. Then we will have the SJW distros and non SJW distros. Of course the SJW distros will be disasters as disabled diabeetus with no hands is just as valuable as hard core kernel developer. So they will ultimately fail.
Meanwhile the other group of non SJW legit coders will actually put out better code less all the dead weight.
Maybe in the end this will be a good thing?

Its really been bothering me too, this will not be a small thing if it happens it could cripple 90% of the internet. We are talking online banking shopping sites, communication huge ripple effect.

I'm not super knowledgeable on this aspect, but since Android and MacOS have underlying Linux cores would it spread there as well?

MacOS is BSD based so I think that one is okay android I am not so sure.

Also most people think Linux is some computer geek thing, not realizing that it runs the majority of infrastructure and devices (outside of routers and switches).
Hell even little media players or firesticks or what have you are mostly running some version of Linux.
Maybe that is the hope. When this bullshit starts messing up the bottom lines of some big companies who rely on stable, free software.

I'm happy this SJW bullshit has yet to invade the firmware world. I suppose it's too triggering; for one, the subject matter requires real skill and two, knowing they won't be changing any actual standards. Old shit still very much in use today like Modbus will always have masters and slaves. Firmware tends to be mostly within the realm of engineers, and the 99% I've met don't put up with that garbage.
