linux mint cinnamon is actually amazing considering its free
Only problem is it has SystemD since version 18 or so. Great otherwise and no one else is developing on top of Devuan yet anyway.
It's not a problem yet, and considering you can jump ship whenever, it's not even a computer/wallet breaking issue.
You can't even put systemd in the same league as windows fuckups. It's like saying crossing the road is comparable to a 30 car pileup because they both involve tarmac.
It's not a problem yet,
"Yet." By the time people notice it will have gunked up large part of Linux.
You can't even put systemd in the same league as windows fuckups.
It's going in the same direction and I would argue SystemD is as much a fuck up as windows, it's just SMALLER.
Linux is based on the unix philosophy of small modules doing one thing only but doing it well. SystemD is monolithic like Windows and just bundles a bunch of stuff that doesn't belong together.
