Cool, but there were some big gaps in the roof. I guess it will leak reasonably. He could use half cane tiles alternated. It would take a lot more tiles, tho. I guess he's not in a rainy place.

Well I would say its a good start.

Of course it is. It's just that when you have seen primitive houses in tv shows, you know easier ways. In the poorest regions of Brazil there's the "pau-a-pique" style. See the picture:

Notice the structure inside the mud, more light than rocks and strong. And the cane tiles alternated keep the water out.

I guess his style is more fit to cold places and maybe snow. Thick walls, angled roof.
