There were decent cards out there when I got mine, just the prices were not what I had in mind. I guess it's all in what you want to spend, could probably pick up a 2-yo high-end card now pretty cheap.

Mine was almost 800 after tax, but I didn't really care. I just wanted to have the best shit to run half-life Alyx..lol
Hopefully it will last me a couple more years.
