Find a reliable electric heat source, create or get a renewable energy generator, try to get your own renewable food source, and grab non perishable food that will last you a decent while. There are those who sell non perishable food bins with several years of food. Worse case situation you wasted money preparing needlessly. Better to prepare than to regret though.
