I deplatformed Mozilla from most of my computers. The only thing I keep around is Thunderbird, but that's kind of been pushed to the side in favor of their kiked browser.
Exactly. I deplatformed myself from big cloud, big cable, Apple, etc. I'm working to deplatformed myself from much more.
Evolution is the shit... just sayin.
Unfortunately, for now, I have to use Windows. Once my Win7 box is dead perhaps I'll consider it.
There's a lot of garbage going on in the screenshots I see of Evolution. Can you disable everything except for email? I have no use for the garbage that normally clutters up email clients, like RSS readers, calendars, stupid folders that have no use (Fuck you Outlook) and all those buttons everywhere. TB has "Get messages" and "Write" on the bar.
Everything like calendaring, tasks/todos, etc is local, so ignoring it is not a big deal but I don't know if you can disable it or not. As for folders it just reads your IMAP/Exchange server and maps to that. Of course POP is all local so you set those up local.
