Doesn’t really matter if it’s code or AI; weapon autonomy is a serious problem.

Poal , may I introduce you to these fine people?

The logo on the website is triggering me in a good way.

Thanks for the link. It's definitely a serious problem, but calling for a ban seems like a bad idea.

Some countries will decline due to being super special and having to face extreme, constant threats, while others will sign on and just do the shit anyway. The US made gain of function testing illegal here, so money and personnel were funneled to China to continue the research.

I for one welcome my new AI overlords.

This is BS in my opinion. Ai killer robots will be the scapegoat when they want to kill off the population next time.

They were programmed to do just that, is it any surprise that they execute the lines of code they have? The only way to avoid this is to not make killer drones, but too late now. Now they have to be kept as a deterrent.

Yeah, retarded title. Nothing sinister about the "AI", just some human target finding visual system programmed to ram into it and let loose. Not an AI deciding to do this.

The world is gonna be fucking scary in 10 years
