I've got starlink, it works great for most applications, I've installed it on my roof.
The issues I face are: SSH connections to servers die, they are using a unusual form of NAT which causes reconnects to occur when you transition sats every once in a while. Not always. Gaming, the kids get disconnected when gaming.
It's good for web browsing, streaming, etc. It's not good if you need a persistent connection.
They are working on firmware to dual connect to the uplinks to avoid both of these issues, once they do there is no real down side.
My latency is around 15-20ms to the nearest major datacenters, comparable to wired internet. Throughout is around 100-150 Mbps, more than enough to operate on the internet.
