The chief executives of AT&T (T.N) and Verizon Communications (VZ.N) rejected a request to delay the planned Jan. 5 introduction of new 5G wireless service over aviation safety concerns but offered to temporarily adopt new safeguards.

Nice of them to consider safeguards.

Imagine how many towers they'll need to put up considering 5G only has like a 1000 foot range. These are being deployed because the wavelength used for 5g will allow high resolution 3D modeling in real time inside every building within range. This has already been proven possible using home wifi.

I have thousands of rounds of 22LR and a very quiet Henry rifle. I bet I win that competition.

It would be more beneficial to shoot the techs putting them up.

agreed 5g is super shitty . 1 wall and its power is cut in half

5G is collection of standards and can operate across different wavelengths. Low-band (500-700mhz) Mid-band (2500 mhz) and High-band (24-39GHz). Apparently the issue is with these new C mid-band frequencies (3700 mhz-4000 mhz) and not 5G in general.
