At this point we are all ill-advised to depend upon any transmitted source for news or political information.
Also, the dark twits can use this technology to fake their target taking part in all sorts of subversive or perverse activities - and then threaten that target with the broadcasting of their made-up fake photos or video.
They apparently want or need your consent for total submission.
Never consent.
I only ever watch the news to learn about what my enemy wants me to think. its worthless otherwise.
It can also be used to discredit blackmail material.
I think this tech is more of a threat to the internationalists that otherwise keep large collections of blackmail material on many nations leadership, generals, executives of major industries, and so on.
"Deepfake" becomes a widely used excuse, suddenly every executive, politician, and public figure, has an out. It doesn't matter if its believable, only plausible, and thats enough for the followers or base of any public individual--in the same way that the left calls everything "disinformation".
