Logged in to post just this. At one time I was a high level athlete (top 10 nationally, just missed 2 Olympics), and this was something I learned early on. Brain can switch between 2 things rapidly, but you can only focus on 1 thing at a time. Young eyes may be able to shift focus between near and far (phone and outside world when driving) too... but it only takes a split second. I'm a motorcyclist too, put your fucking phone down (not you indoctrinated, the rest of these niggers). You are *NOT* that good of a driver. The truly good drivers (roadracers, autoX, etc...) know they're not good enough at driving to use a phone while behind the wheel. The rest of you are dumb enough that you don't have a clue how incompetent you really are.
