Thanks to new technology men get better, more advanced tools to use..... With which they build more affordable better isolated houses for women to live in.
Women are asking for gender quotas in professions like CEO, senior software engineer and so on. Not for any profession at which you use battery powered tools.
Oh, television is another technology that comes to my mind that turned out to be very beneficial for women('s rights).
