Very little. Crude oil is refined through a chamber still system. The heavier products are used as kerosene, jet fuel, diesel, asphalt, etc. The lighter gasses are used as gasoline, propane, lpg, etc. It is an incredibly efficient system which is why we use it. Direct combustion energy is wildly more efficient than electricity transfer over distance or charge storage.
