I know that; but for a lot of people, Google is the internet, or Siri, or Alexa, or Cortana, or whatever comes with your device. If you don't have a direct link to something, and you can't find it with a search engine, it's as good as gone. Some videos are already almost impossible to find on youtube, even if you type the full name of said video in the search bar.
