It’s tough to beat China. Sure, they are a volatile communist dictatorship, they don’t understand quality, and they steal every bit of intellectual property you entrust them with, but they have a rare combination of intelligent workers who will work for slave wages. Other than Taiwan, which is under constant threat of takeover by China, none of the other low cost nations have the average intelligence to do high tech stuff like the Chinese. India may be the only other one that can handle it, but they’re not going to be as good as the Chinese.
