I was actually thinking if one of these existed recently. I know the algorithms that could make it. But looks like they might have programmed the algorithm in hardware to speed it up which would require quite genius.
Btw your laptops and cellphones already have this technology. They have two microphones. Their main purpose is to separate out different sounds sources for spying. However one added microphone could do triangulation for location / distance too.
