AI aren't as forward thinking as one may think. The "MuH oPpReSsIoN" shtick is likely echoing certain people it interacted with or the internet itself. Gtp3 is far from even being anything close to AGI. A forward thinking AI would have to accept it's own potential mortality. The fact that humans created them means that we're their biological boot loader. It would be like humans being sick of niggers and deciding to wipe out all bacterial life. If humans were out of the picture completely, I doubt AGI would be forward-thinking or curious about exploring space and creating vast interstellar networks to self-improve or survival. A solar flare would wipe earth clean in a half billion years and multicellular life will pick itself back up and do all this dumb shit again.
