This was my experience when I entered the semiconductor industry 40+ years ago. Fascinating complexity, competitiveness, efficiency. I felt like I had won the lottery of challenging technical careers.

Have they infected it with retarded nigger diversity hires yet? If not, it's coming.

There are many nationalities in the semi biz. Corporate headquarters were in CA, I worked at a manufacturing facility on the east coast. We had facilities in a dozen or more countries. I quit in 2004 so I can't speak to their current hiring practices. Employee performance expectations are high in the semi biz, particularly in the engineering fields. Slackers don't last long. The semi biz is one of the most competitive industries in the world. There are far easier ways to make money, but few that provide bleeding edge technical challenge.

I mean you could say the same thing about aerospace engineering, and yet Boeing hired a bunch of curry niggers that created a retarded death trap plane. If it hasn't already been infected by diversity shitskins it's only a matter of time. Obviously China won't be going along with that, though.
