Electricity right at home yeah bit your car isn't always at home,

But it's at home about 360 nights a year, at least. That buys you 250 - 350 miles before you have to worry about charging again.

But I don't want to worry at all, especially if I have to pay over 60K for a car. Many people don't have a garage with class 3 charging to park their car. Plug in hybrids are good, pure electric is a pipe dream for retards that don't understand machinery.

PHEV is the best of both worlds, but you don't need something crazy in your garage to run pure electric without issue. A 240V outlet is plenty. You'll charge a long-range (~350 miles) Tesla from 0 to 100% in 9 - 10 hours.

Charging for 10 hours is still much too ling for many, many people. Why would I want to go backwards and pay way more? If batteries were cheap, easy to make it wouldn't be too bad and yes you can manage the deficiencies but right now you are not saving anything. Batteries have not changed much in 30 years.
