Like all these people on Poal who don't like electric cars because of the decades of experience they have driving one? Or do you mean to say Poalrs can learn without experience, but no one else can?
Electric cars suck if you drive distance, tow, or have to be anywhere now.

It's true that an electric car isn't your best option if you need to drive further than 600 miles in a day.
As far as being anywhere now, that's not a problem as long as you're not an idiot.

I need to tow my 6500 lb boat 250 miles on hills. I have never seen a boat launch with electric chargers, so how can I charge it while I am out on the water? I also drive 250 miles one way across the desert regularly.
So I have to drive around and don't have time to wait for a charge. I have time to fill a tank though.

I don't think anyone really gives 2 fucks about electric cars if they would just sell them without banning perfectly good combustion engine vehicles. It isn't cheaper to own an electric car, it isn't more environmentally friendly and it is not more convenient for most people. If it was better to own electric cars then there would be no need to ban anything and people would just stop buying gas vehicles. Is this hard to understand?
