Sounds familiar. I have a huge circuit board that bends under its own weight and takes the entire lower space inside the case, apparently it was some weird Audio I/O thing or something: https://pic8.co/sh/P3y7pY.jpg Never used it, so I still don't know what it's really for.
Interesting, looks to have multiple crystals up front with a bunch of transformers to match impedances? Some sort of audio synthesis board?
Any names or model numbers on it?
It might be Russian made, actually. Some chips have Cyrillic in them: "КР580ВИ53", "КР580ВВ55А", and so on. One of the chips has an ISD logo on it, serial number 1st line "1020AP", 2nd "9801", and 3rd "RP61SK010". I don't recognize any other logos, one of them is something that looks like a triple slash ///, another is an audio jack or a plug? And the last logo looks like a power sign like an S.
Weird, I'll look up those chips if I get a minute.
