Well we know for sure they did it with Intel, and no evidence has emerged implicating AMD as far as I know. And we know the NSA has never stopped seeking backdoors in technology so I think we can assume it's only gotten more advanced since a few years ago. It's actually the reason I recent purchased an AMD ryzen myself.
