What they didn't mention was that amd is ready for usb4 and much higher motherboard speeds. They are ahead of the curve Intel hasn't even started producing for. I'm sure they're already working on a faster usb 5 and other things. Hell considering that intel didn't even mention the security flub that put off customers that had been there for over a decade is another thing they have to catch up on quickly to fix their reputation since their cpus are running below spec because of the workarounds in place slow down the entire process. So all their old stock is now slow stock and they haven't even entered 7nm yet. Yeah intel got to comfy and let the competition pass them like they were standing still. I wonder if their chip specs also take into consideration the slower motherboard speeds without usb 4 along with any advances I can't think of at the moment. I chip a bit faster running on a slower board is gonna be slower unless they come up with new boards for their current chips that make up the difference.
