From the post:

>WordPress drama went up another notch on Wednesday after WordPress.org, the open-source web hosting software, banned hosting provider WP Engine from accessing its resources. In a post on WordPress.org, WordPress co-creator and Automattic CEO, Matt Mullenweg, wrote that pending their legal claims, WP Engine will not have access to the platform’s resources, such as themes and plug-ins.

this is good news:

WP engine presented itself as WordPress, but did not implement nearly any of the important WordPress Integrity mechanisms. they freely delete old posts old material. only partial pass through to the real WordPress system.

they're like the current thing with Forbes Marketplace: a ((( parasite ))) presenting itself as the host and then trying to take the host over.
