Fuck...yeah I remember that. And they kept claiming it doesn't happen, and it's over clockers or user error. Now we have cards literally melting the PSU pins, and they start the same dog and pony of it doesn't happen or user error.
If I hadn't gotten such a deal on my 2070 Super, I'd have stuck with my old RX570 even now, until I can find a good priced 6700xt or something.
I have a 6800xt right now. I'm looking to upgrade to a 9070xt when prices become not insane.

For their MSRP of $599 it's an incredible card. For the $800 they're going for on the street it's a lot less interesting. I'll take a 30-40% perf increase for $599. ONLY 30-40% for $8-900? Nah. Doesn't pass the value test at that price.
