It's an Israeli backdoor used to hijack planes remotely. Some other individual or group started using it to crash planes. It's costing US companies dearly, Asian competitors are now taking the market. I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if Israel gave a tool to remotely operate these planes to China on purpose to destroy the US aviation market just like they gave Israel so much tech they stole from US companies. Israel is not an ally.
