The headache a lot of users try to put people through for a place that, at best, only gets a few hundred hits on decent content. It all comes down to a numbers thing. I want to reach as many people as possible. Twitter = 16k to 20k people. My reddit communities are like 50k. To post something on Voat and be constantly attacked isn't worth the number of views.
