Do you have a camp axe? A hatchet? Do you know the difference?

I don't have one, but have it in my head that I need a good quality one, so i'm off learning about axes. I thought those here might be interested as well.

But either way, that doesn't require obsessing about pointless specifications and memorizing arcane terminology.

to each their own. I enjoy the learning. Why a straight-handled axe vs a clawed one? Why hickory vs. poplar? What difference does the head make for the different functions of the tool?
