Do you have a camp axe? A hatchet? Do you know the difference?

I don't have one, but have it in my head that I need a good quality one, so i'm off learning about axes. I thought those here might be interested as well.

Wooden handle replacement skills: Anyone who swings a hammer or larger combination of bit and handle on more than an infrequent basis should know how to do this.

I'd say we should all attempt to get out into the woods and put ourselves in situations where we need the skill, so it's really one we should all have.
