I've been boycotting Dasani for years anyway on the grounds of the fact it tastes like shit.
Dasani was discontinued in the UK because it was found to be plain tap water falsely advertised as "spring" water.
It does, reverse-osmosis filtered water is the way, and buying that stuff bottled is far cheaper anyhow.

yeah, I wish I could say I will now boycott these things, except I already don't buy them. The best I can hope to do is maybe buy stickers or something to label the not so obvious brands in RL as a cola brand product so others may boycott them in a more effective manner.
Well continue to avoid these products, only harder!
