I can tell you precisely why I left voat. They had a subverse called starlet or starlets that was exclusively scantily dressed children in bathing suits etc. I addressed this w/ puttitout at the time. He said it constituted free speech and I said it was sexualizing children. Many of us came here for that specific reason among a litany of others. I'm literally the voater that started paddyspub and did all the css w/ the explanation of how even a layman could edit it if he wanted. I believed in the site, but my principles/standards matter more to me and I will not lower them.
I always thought PaddysPub was a vote farm, so avoided it. I'll give it another gander.
It started as something else. Just a place to chill and enjoy music. That's all the sub was for. My politics offend most people but guess what, the sub was never about any opf that shit. Paddys was always just a place that if you like the sound you like the sound in my mind. IDK that I would agree it ever turned into a "voat farm" though. It had some decent mods not looking to punish people for "wrong think". what do you think?

Fair enough on your reason, though. I remember the day you made PaddysPub. You had an issue posting to whatever the then popular music sub was and so made a new one, right?
Less competitive, like a lot less memes that have been around for years only posted for upvotes.
