When comparing hydroxyapatite (in nano or micron particles), it consistently performs equally well or better than fluoride. It’s been the go-to option in Japan over fluoride toothpastes for over 40 years over sodium fluoride.

Check out the U.K. version of sensoryne, has Novamin and it works. I had 2 cavities forming and used that, went back recently got them checked out and gone.

Also read “cure tooth decay” my Rahm Nagiel. It is a book on Dr Weston Price, who went around the world looking at every cultures teeth to see the diets that are best for teeth.

Thanks for the article.

Yeah I use this mainly and rotate fluoride in every now and then. I have fillings on fillings despite a pretty clean lifestyle (tons of grinding) Like I said, Novamin helped a lot, didn’t need two fillings (caries disappeared) and sensitivity went down by a lot.

The Japanese stuff was more expensive and smaller tubes. I think they break down into fundamentally similar things.

That biomin says it’s better because of nanoparticles, but I had just bought $150 worth of the Novamin paste, so I’m working through that.
