I was on the periphery of the business side for a long awhile (labels, pros, studios, bands were my clients).. Full of psychopaths and their mindfucked victims. Saw a lot of crazy degenerate shit. One day a client invited me to a "lunch" meeting at 3pm at a I place I never heard of... it was a strip club. Started to learn programming that night and was out less than a year later.
